  1. thank you for explaining the belief of the mormons. i like knowing how different ones believe. i am a teacher in church and a speaker in conferences and an author of a book on amazon …fabulous poems combined. i am the church bus driver i pick up a lot of different people

    1. So the god You all believe in is from 2000 year old writings, that is silly, if you believe god is a living god then holy writings would be continued until today, interesting their not, sorry to pop your bubble , why is god not writing today? Please don’t tell me that one book covers the whole deal, and please don’t tell me that man has only been here 5000 years, if you want salvation don’t tell other peoples made up stories, (Joseph Smith)that is true blasphemy.

      1. It may seem to some, sad and too bad that all of that proof of biblical studies, spirit given revelation and history had to be concluded with David Youngs comment of total disbelief of the bible and the God that inspired it! Fortunately, for all of those that share in his beliefs, I was once a part of that very community! I didn’t believe it, nor was I convinced that there even was” a loving God” that could be so, and allow all of this hate, pain, trouble, etc to so many, especially to the little victimized innocent ones( as was my beginning)! I hated my terrible life, that I was told ” was a gift from God and that what we did with it,was in turn, our gift to Him. To add insult to injury, on the last day of highschool in Art Class i ignorantly did something that opened up a doorway that i couldnt close, neither did i have anyone that could help me close it! For the next 2 and a half years, i existed in a living Nightmare!Well, i decided He could have His “gift” back! I thought of it as a sick, cruel joke anyways! For me,it was like unwrapping a gift box full of all kinds of infectious dieases! How could a terrible life of pain, rejection and abuse of many kinds be “a gift”? The decision was made,I’ll drive my car out in the woods, tilt my head back and put a 38( that i took from my ex-con brothers pocket)in my mouth, and blow my brains out! God didn’t care nothing about me anyways,or so I thought! A thought came to my mind, that I originally thought came from me,to pray this simple prayer ” if there is a God out there( even though I didn’t believe it was) if you are as powerful and all knowing that people say you are,I’m giving you a chance to show it! If you’ve got any care or plans for my life, let me know, otherwise you can have this ” gift of life” that feels like a sentence of death”! That was over 45 years ago, when He began to pull me to Him,to heal my many hurts and completely change my life! And that demon that tormented me nonstop,(that I opened the door of my life for)was ejected out like a rocket! And since I had such indignation for the little messy, self righteous church hypocrites that I had encountered,( and not all are) He didn’t use the church or the church folk to help deliver me, heal me or my ripped apart heart, either! Our creator knows each one of us His creation, and He knows how to fix our brokenness! I can’t tell you the many people that He has used me to help pull from similar wrecks that I myself was once in! So many are angry, hurting and ready to pull the trigger to end their misery, but I promise you there is a loving Creator that really cares! He not only heard me, but He knew how and what to do to pull me out of the fatal wreck that my life was in! First ,He planted the very prayer that I took credit for in me, to pray to Him ,that would forever change my life! It’s my prayer that He will plant within you and all of the others that are like minded, that very prayer that will permit Him to step into your personal lifes fatalities, and work a work in your lives that will forever change the way you do and view things! And I’m hoping that He hurries up, sorry to say, even with as much as He has done for so many, there’s not enough of us out here that’s even willing or wants to be used! Your future Sister in Christ Jesus!

    2. Hmmmm…if you wanted to buy a new Cadillac would you go to a Volkswagen dealer?

Instead of judging a church by a second-hand account, why don’t you go to the original source to find out?

  2. The Mormons and so many other Religions definitely need help. We have a similar belief but on a partial level. They are lost if they believe they can become a God. So many religions are partially lost also like Muslims & Jehovah Witness(JW). JW used to knock at my door. What I noticed is that we are similar in beliefs to a certain portion. But they are wrong on other portions. I don’t compromise when it comes to God. So I dismissed JW coming to my door. I pray that all these religions will get wisdom and understanding.

    1. We do not believe we can become gods, neither do we worship multiple gods. Much of the information represented in this article was false.

    1. We can’t become Angeles the reason being is that Angels are a complete different creation than human..

      1. If you read the bible long enough everyone can believe the way they want and say it’s from the Bible people mix and blend verses to suit what they want to believe but it’s by faith you must believe and that’s where I get lost how does a person know

  3. Christians can neither become either gods or angels . We are and will remain mankind . Jesus is God incarnate. He was
and remains fully man and fully God. He is seated at the right hand of God the Father to intercede for His adopted brothers and sisters. We are not perfect we are forgiven. Our relationship with God was bought with the blood sacrifice of Jesus, our Lord and savior.

  4. This is false information, Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints only believe in one God, and just like christianity there is our Heavenly Father, his only begotten son Jesus Christ, and the holy ghost, yes they are seperate but they’re all embodiments of the spirit and same God, also we do not think we can become Gods just angels, this website is definitely anti-mormon and not creditable.

    1. Then why did Joseph Smith say, “I have always declared God to be a distinct personage, Jesus Christ a separate and distinct personage from God the Father, and the Holy Ghost a distinct personage or spirit, and these three constitute three distinct personages and three Gods.”

You can read the quote yourself in Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith on the LDS website on p.42: https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/bc/content/shared/content/english/pdf/language-materials/36481_eng.pdf

Also, Christians believe that Jesus and the Holy Spirit have eternally existed with God since the beginning. They are not created beings.

We also believe that God does not change (Malachi 3:6), and Joseph Smith taught that God used to be a man: “God himself was once as we are now, and is an exalted man” (Joseph Smith, Journal of Discourses, 6:3).

Also, your prophet said you can become gods. “As man is, God once was: as God is, man may become” (Prophet Lorenzo Snow, quoted in Milton R. Hunter, The Gospel Through the Ages, [Salt Lake City: Stevens & Wallis, 1945], 105–106). Was he wrong?

You may believe that you will only become an angel, but that’s not what the LDS church has taught historically.

  5. …After a conversation with one person, you’ve “decided” what every member of an entire religion believes. I don’t know your friend, but I doubt that you listened very well if you concluded that Latter Day Saints are polytheistic after a short conversation with a single member.

And then you posted on a site which stands to gain from discrediting The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

For the purposes of this website, the biggest difference is that members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints believe that priest-craft is immoral. That is, a person paid to be a priest. So, the biggest conflict here, is that your occupation has no earnings if you convert. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints presents a conflict to the financial occupation of Pastors and Priests, which should have been your largest take away from a comparison of religious values.

    1. First, this article is based on far more than just one conversation. I’ve read the book of Mormon, Pearl of Great Price, and Doctrine and Covenants.

Second, the LDS Church doesn’t admit to polytheism, yet teaches that there are multiple gods. They also teach that you can become a god one day yourself. That is the exact definition of polytheism (more than one god).

Third, if you believe the Bible, you should read 1 Timothy 5:17-18 about how elders deserve their wages, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching. There is nothing immoral about being paid for hard work.

Fourth, I didn’t become a pastor to make money. I could make a lot more doing just about anything else. I would make more money if I converted to any other religion.

      1. I am a member of the church but we do not worship a lot of different God as we have read and studied the Bible itself. We also our teachings are based on 1 God. We believe in Christ our Savior the son of the all mighty.. I don’t know where did you get your informations from..Joseph Smith is not a God but we take studies from his book nevertheless have the Bible as our guidance..we don’t worship him but we read and understands his teachings.. the Bible is what we believe.. Book of Mormon, great pearl of price, doctrine and covernant are books that helps us understand the Bible.

      2. All Christians are functionally polytheistic. Father, Jesus, and Holy Ghost. Saying that your three Gods only count as one because “reasons” doesn’t change that.

      3. We do not think there are more than one god. We try to be more like God, more perfect, and we will, someday, be exalted, but we will still never be all powerful like God. We don’t believe Christ or the Holy Ghost are gods, rather, “assistants” of sorts to God with the same purpose.

      4. We do not believe in multiple gods and whe do not believe we can become a god I’ve read the Bible the book of mormon d an c and peral of great price clear through before I was 12 and your just making stuff up. Lieing and judging is a sin and you call yourself a man of God. There is one God the son and the holy spirit only one God That is what we believe.

        1. What does it matter just believe what you learned in Sunday school God made the world man screwed up so God knew how to give us a second chance through Jesus so I feel Jesus is like the eldest brother pleading to our father for our sins

      5. If your a man of God you would just preach and leave other people’s beliefs alone there is 100 of religions have faith in what you believe and focus on you. We will all find out the truth when we die so live you best life and put God first don’t worry about other people that isn’t very healthy or in the image of God

      6. You are paid to preach. I guarantee that you read none of those books without a previously formed opinion. No open mind or heart, but only seeking to cherry pick from things said, to lend credence to your beliefs and desires to discredit another religion. Sorry, but your words can’t be trusted due to your intentions of attacking others beliefs. Your idea of being a Christian is not very Christ like.

    2. I totally agree and stand by it.. I am a member of the church but we do not worship a lot of different God as we have read and studied the Bible itself. We believe in Christ our Savior the son of the all mighty.. Joseph Smith is not a God but we take studies from his book nevertheless have the Bible as our guidance..we don’t worship him but we read and understands his teachings..

This guy that posted this should get his facts right..

      1. The LDS church does not worship a lot of different gods. But they do worship three separate gods at least, God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each is a separate being and each is divine according to LDS theology. They deny the Christian doctrine of the Trinity that there is only one God who eternally exists in three persons. Therefore, you do have multiple gods, even if you don’t want to admit it.

Also, I find it interesting that LDS say they don’t worship Joseph Smith, but you literally sing praise to him in one of your popular hymns “Praise to the Man.” https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/media/music/songs/praise-to-the-man?lang=eng

        1. You still show no comprehension of the similarities in your belief. Mormons and Trinitarians believe in the exact same three individuals. The only thing that changed is Trinitarians say they are a single person that is also three people. I have never seen a good explanation of how believing that three people are God is different than believe the same three people are Gods.

          1. You just made the distinction yourself. The difference is one “God” versus three “Gods”. The Trinity is not one person who is also three persons. It is one God who exists in three persons. That is a very big difference. Mormons believe in three separate gods who work for a similar purpose, and one is greater than the others. It’s one God verse three gods. But see my explanation to your comment above for a little more detail on the difference.

This is only one major difference. There are many major theological differences between Mormonism and Christianity.

        2. So if there all one person then explain jhon 3 16 and then read 1 Timothy chapter 6 verse 3 thru 8 on a Bible that you didn’t translate to modern words because that Bible was translated in the 1980s to believe what the translater believed read the read the king James version that has been the same for over a 1000 years not your modern belief molested Bible

        3. I’ve read this entire thread and am now fully convinced you’re deliberately trying to avoid comprehension and twist things to fit and push your own false narrative. There have been several LDS members speak up politely and explain their beliefs.

Im now going to speak on behalf of you and tell you & others what you believe and when you try to correct me I’m going to ignore you. Do you see how wicked that behavior sounds ? Because that’s exactly what you’re doing Sir. Gods children are not fools. They might believe your false and willingly ignorant statements but as is said in Luke “ Nothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.”

I’ve been blessed to bear witness to the genuine heart & souls of the Latter Day Saints. My mother who is not a member of their church became ill in 2005. Many members of their church came to my mother’s aid. The young men tended her yard, the young women cleaned her home, the women baked fresh meals and delivered them daily and they sewed her socks and blankets and a put together a hospital bag for her visit.the elder men helped transport her to hospital and various appointments and did handwork around her home. They had never met my mother. They would accept no money for their service instead just offered more. This wasn’t just 1 person or 5 this was at the very least 20 different people. And when my mother passed away they all came to her funeral . More than the 20 that had been to her house came to show their support to my family. We were so touched by their kindness we asked their bishop to please say a prayer at her farewell. I get chills thinking about how pure and kind these people were. I think of these people often & their kindness and devotion to their beliefs. What amazing people . My brother and his wife joined the church in 2011 and I have been to their church. While I am no expert I can tell you they don’t believe in multiple Gods. Please do better Sir and don’t become what you say you aren’t . God sees all and we all must one day answer to him. I hope you have a wonderful day and I hope your heart and soul is open and honest if you ever have the opportunity to come across a member of the LDS to engage in conversation about the history & teachings of their church. Thank you Sir.

          1. If you read the bible long enough everyone can believe the way they want and say it’s from the Bible people mix and blend verses to suit what they want to believe but it’s by faith you must believe and that’s where I get lost how does a person know

    3. Priests don’t get paid. They are provided a simple house and a stipend for incidental expenses.

  6. How does LDS differ from other Mormon religions?
On LDS, is it ok to profit from other peoples sins ie sell caffeine but not drink it. Own the casino but don’t gamble in it etc..!

  7. Hi Brandon,
I am new to your website. Can I just say thankyou for all your hard work and research that you put into your debates. They are always with a well balanced portioned response.

Your answers are very accurate and and encouraging. 👏 I am very happy your responses are with grace and never malice.

I remember back in the 90s when at bible college in London England I had to do a paper on Christian Cults, and to my complete surprise, every major cult always denied the Trinity without exception. ‘Every day a school day’

I have also noticed over the last 20 years plus the’ Word of Faith ‘ movement are still pushing the little Gods Theology so much, just like the cults.

Its in our Christian Pentecostal Churchs now today and doesn’t look like it is slowing down anytime soon. I left the my Pentecostal church because of this heretical teaching. Will these false prophets never learn .

    In His Name 👋
    Vince Young BTh(hons)

    1. If the trinity is a thing, please explain the baptism of Christ.

He is in the water, getting baptized.

The Holy Ghost descends in the form of a dove.

God, calling down from the heavens, says, “This is my Son in whom I am well pleased.”

Additionally, did Christ pray to Himself in Gethsemene?

When He was hanging on the cross, did he ask Himself, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do?”

It doesn’t appear your Bible college education has served you well.

  8. I Am by the grace of God I Am who I Am, and His Grace toward me was not in vain. I’M A SINNER SAVED BY THE GRACE OF GOD AN JESUS CHRIST HIS SON SHED HIS BLOOD FOR ALL OF US TO COVER OUR SINS. JESUS WILLINGLY GAVE UP HIS LIFE ON EARTH FOR US ALL. THAT GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT WHO SO EVER CALLS UP ON THE NAME OF JESUS SHALL BE SAVED AN HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. NOT BY MY MIGHT, NOT BY MY STRENGTH OR MY WISDOM, BUT BY THE ANOINTING OF HIS HOLY SPIRIT THAT WE SUCCEED IN THIS LIFE. ITS BECAUSE THE SPIRIT OF GOD BARE’S WITNESS WITH OUR SPIRIT THAT WE ARE THE CHILDREN OF GOD . SIGNED SEALED AN DELIVERED EVER READY FOR ANYTHING AN EQUAL TO ANYTHING THIS LIFE CAN THROW AT US. Because of the Love of Our Lord an Savior O can do ALL things threw Jesus Christ my Lord my King.Amen

    1. Hi Evan, this article is actually not very helpful lol. Mormons are not polygamous like the pioneers of mormonism were. Also latter day saints only believe in god not multiple gods. Jesus is not god to mormons. However, they pray to jesus in hopes that he will relay the message to god

        1. Being in the godhead is not the same as being a god. Christ is the son of God and, for lack of a better word, his “assistant,” but he isn’t a god himself.

      1. So how can Jesus face God if he is not part of the God-head along with the Holy Spirit .
They are One in Three and Three in one.

  10. Actually its quite the opposite. Mormons believe in the holy spirit and god himself. One god. They dont beleive that jesus is god. They pray to jesus in hopes that he will carry their prayers to god. Also mormons are not polygamous. Joseph smith was but that is a myth about modern day mormons. One thing about marriage is they tread grounds for divorce very carefully. Divorce is pretty rare among mormons. Im not a mormon myself but many members of my family are latter day saints and I’ve been to the church many times. This article is false

    1. What exactly is false in the article? The LDS church believes that Jesus is the son of God and that one day you can become a god too. How is that not believing in more than one god?

Quote from the LDS website: “We believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ as the literal Son of God and a distinct member of the Godhead along with God the Father and the Holy Spirit.” ( https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/welcome/savior-jesus-christ?lang=eng )

They will say they only believe in one God. But when you study their beliefs or talk to people in the church about them, it is clear that there are also lesser gods. I’ve read the Book of Mormon, and it’s all in there if you want to read it. Also, the article mentions nothing about polygamy (though it is a major part of LDS history and is still practiced in some areas of Utah and Arizona today).

      1. There is no significant difference between what the article says about Mormons and Trinitarians. Both believe that there are three beings that are God. If Mormons are polytheistic then Trinitarians are too.

        1. Chris, I can understand your confusion. The doctrine of the Trinity is difficult to comprehend because God is unlike anything on earth. So we cannot point to anything on earth to visualize and see him perfectly. He is infinite, eternal, and beyond comprehension. So we should expect it to be hard to understand God’s nature.

That being said, the Trinity while difficult to comprehend is taught in the Bible. There is only one God. To deny this is to deny the Bible. God eternally exists in three persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). They are one in essence but three in person. Each person is fully God, but there is only one God. Study the councils of Antioch, Nicea, Chalcedon if you want to learn more about the theological history.

Mormons reject the Trinity. They believe in three divine persons, but they are not all God. They are distinct persons who work together, and they are not on the same level either.

          1. I think you are comprehending it wrong on purpose. Even the quote you used above proves the other persons point. Not yours. Mormons believe there is one God and that God is a jealous God so no we do not believe there are multiple gods and that we can become one. We believe that the God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost are separate but only there is only one God. Like you’re weird for reading into the quote and interrupting it the way you did lol.

          2. No. All you have to do is talk to LDS members and get clear definitions. Or simply look at LDS websites like this one: https://newsroom.churchofjesuschrist.org/article/what-mormons-believe-about-jesus-christ

For example, the article says, “Latter-day Saints believe that the simplest reading of the New Testament text produces the simplest conclusion — that the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost are separate and distinct personages, that They are one in purpose.” They are not all one being, but three separate beings. They categorically deny that Jesus and God the Father and God the Holy Spirit are one eternal being who has always existed (past) and will exist for eternity (future). How am I misunderstanding that these are three separate beings to Mormons, but Christians believe there is only one God? That’s basic theology 101.

          3. We believe that God The Father, Jesus, and The holy Spirit are three separate personages how their wills align so closely together that they act as one God.

      2. The Mormons are going off the interpretation of a man that never met Jesus. Instead of the eye witness account of the ones that followed Jesus and wrote down the things they seen and heard him do. If they follow and believe in Jesus then they should pick up the Bible that is eye witness account of what Jesus said not the interpretation of what a man said that was not there . To me and I’m no scholar but people put limitations on things God can do. He made everything! There is NO limitations on what God can do his mind is way beyond or human comprehension.

      3. False lds do don’t do polygamy at all and they only did it back in the day because there was more women in the church than men and it only happened for about 10 years in the 1800s when they moved to Utah on the Oregon trail because are own government was trying to kill them off just like the quakers. There is a cult religion in the bottom part of utah and Arizona that does polygamy and marry young girls but the founder is in prison now. But they are not associated with the lds church. They call themselves the rlds but there completely different

      4. Polygamy is not practiced by any member of the actual LDS church. The ones that do are apostate and are not actually members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. If you’re wrong about that, I can’t help but believe you are wrong about some other things as well.

      1. Why are there so many Lies about the LDS? I guess people just don’t know the truth about the LDS church, I am 81 years old, And I have heard them all, SO many different stories,It sad that people will not listen to the truth. *

  11. The topic discussed is very delicate but people manage to disagree politely. Who is Brandon H?
I find his discourse polite and informative. I myself had been blocked from entering a Mormon church in Houston. The people in the front said there’s a ceremony inside. They cannot allow a newcomer in. What is hidden?
So what’s with Mormonism, LDS, Jehovas Witness, Word of Faith, Trinitarian, Catholic?

    1. Loli think they are cults but isn’t most religions only not the one we go to JESUS is the only way no matter where you go

    1. You obviously tried to enter a Temple, not simply a church in Houston. No one, including members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (What you are calling the Mormon Church) can enter that sacred building and other temples around the world with having a temple recommend. Although, before a temple is dedicated there is always an open house which the public is invited to attend.
If you have more questions, you can ask the missionaries or any member. We are always happy to welcome visitors to worship with us on Sundays, also.
      If you would like

      1. I need more abouthe Book of Mormon.
Bcs My soul is still not at peace having another Bible apart from the Holy Bible I know

    2. A church is a building that welcomes visitors and where regular Sunday meetings happen. You went to a temple, where ceremonies are performed that are closed to the public.

      1. Jesus does not turn away us,lol on you but don’t laugh I pray for you, Jesus didn’t put nothing out of reach he made us all welcome did you or mormans, decide something other, we are All we are all welcome, no one has a right to keep his children away, think, read, ask god wisdom please a friend in Jesus

        1. Right! It’s it’s crazy that they have a temple where church members are not permitted to enter. When has God ever made a building of worship and not allowed his children to enter… that literally makes no sense.. and this whole belief system of them becoming gods seems very egotistical. Joseph Smith was a con artist who made people believe that he could read “sacred scrolls” from a hat. The book of Mormon is blasphemy and written by a white man Who believes that Native Americans were originally Caucasian, and sin turned their skin darker. This is a twisted version of Christianity rooted in racism, egotistical ideology.

          1. Leave everyone alone let God take care of them people everyone do what’s in your heart find a place to fellowship and believe in trinity let’s talk about catholics awhile and jehovas witness now that’s weird

      2. The Church, is the body of Christian believers who make up the Body of Christ.
Jesus Gods only Son emptied himself of all but Love and was born of the Virginia Mary and His Father was the God of Heaven and Earth .
Jesus was pure and sinless and was the only way that humans could come before the God of the Universe.
All a person has to do is to ask the Lord Jesus for His forgiveness and place belief and trust in the fact the Jesus was persecuted, killed on the Cross and buried and then Rose again and is now “seated” at the Right hand of God The Father.
He promised to send us a helper and that is the Holy Spirit who convicts us of our sin that we may then in turn repent and be put right with God by Jesus our Lord and Savior.
We can all recieve the Gift of GRACE only though the work of Jesus.
        Gods Riches At Christ’s Expence.
If you don’t believe this all you have to do is read the Bible, the Word of God and get to know Jesus for yourself.

        1. 100% true
Joseph Smith does not need to add to the true Bible . It has everything we need to find peace by accepting Jesus Christ into our life. He alone makes the difference .Eph 2;7-9 For by grace are you saved through faith ..NOT of works lest anyone should boast . It is a free gift!

    3. You wouldn’t be bared from entering a regular church building. Entrance to a temple is only for those who meet certain requirements. If you are not completely dedicated and don’t meet these requirements, you may not enter. You are mistaken about the things you have said. You need to check your facts from a proper source.

  13. A lot of this is not true. The Mormons believe in the Bible.
There are people that try to discredit LDS but they really don’t know

    1. If what You say is right, show Me in the “Bible” of these discrepancies.
Where does it say that God, Jesus and Man are ALL of the same Species?
Where does it say that Man can become a God?
      Where do it say that
You can work Your way to Heaven.
How can the Dead stand in front of God and All all of US and say that he believes that Jesus died for His Sins and that he rose from the dead and sits next to God the Father and is the Only way for US to be Saved. If this Dead Man can’t say this or at least nod his head.
“How can He be Baptized in accordance with the Bible?”
There are religions that have their own thoughts of how certain circumstances would Question how God is going to handle this, but in reality as long as You have complete faith of Who’s in Charge of this..
Who cares. I believe that He can govern Anything.

    2. This article misrepresents a lot of Latter Day Saint beliefs. Based on the author’s replies, I am starting to think it’s on purpose, because many other members have responded saying something else, actual *members,* and he brings up his interpretations of very conveniently selected pieces of text that contradict the church’s official modern views.

  14. Thank you for bringing these things to light. I just want to have as much information as possible to witness to Mormons/LDS. I know that they prefer to be called LDS.

  15. Why are there so many Lies about the LDS? I guess people just don’t know the truth about the LDS church, I am 81 years old, And I have heard them all, SO many different stories,It sad that people will not listen to the truth. *

      1. Amen Clint!!
It says in the last chapter of the bible, Revelation; if anyone adds anything to this book, God will add to them the plagues described in this book. Those additional books or writings prove to me they are not of God. The 66
Books of the bible are God inspired and breathe. None of those addendums or edits are of God. Cult.

        1. THIS Book means The Revelation of Jesus Christ to John! The Bible did not exist when John wrote on Patmos. His statement is that he received through revelation and wrote down all of the words from Jesus Christ that he was allowed to write down. I think you have misinterpreted that particular scriptural admonishment.

  16. I don’t know where you get your information about members of the church, but you’re wrong. We don’t believe in more than one God we believe in God, his only begotten son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.

  17. I am not Morman, although the first girl that ever kissed me was my morman neighbor when I was 9 so maybe that makes me biased, I don’t know. What I do know is that almost 100% of the Morman’s that I have had contact with, seem to all be extraordinarily good and honest people.

I am a businessman. If I am buying 10,000 widgets from a morman, I need to negotiate hard because they tend to be shrewd; but after a deal is set, I never need to check up on things. I never need to count the widgets. It is never 9,999. If they owe me money they always pay…ALWAYS!! I don’t know if it’s the Morman culture or what, but what ever they believe, it sure seems to make them honest. I can’t say that about any other culture or religion I have experienced. .

      1. I wonder is it possible to focus on our 1 GOD and leave everyone’s religion alone I wish I knew that since we all don’t go to the same church does that mean some religions are going to hell just believe in 1 God and pray through Jesus Christ that we all make it

    1. The reason us Saints from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints do our best to, for this instance, pay someone back. Is because of some of the 10 Commandments. “Thou shalt not steal” and “Thou shalt not bear false witness” (lie). If you don’t know what I mean by “Thou shalt not lie,” it means to be honest in things in which you are doing.

    2. Me encanta tu deducción !!

  18. You offer a twisted view of a much greater and all encompassing gospel. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints, do absolutely believe in Christ. They also are not polytheistic. God the father is the One God. Jesus Christ is His son, and the Holy Ghost is a witness and guide sent by God. You have taken a few things that members have acknowledged, and twisted them to fit your agenda. You should be ashamed and it is very un-Christian of you to warp another faiths beliefs. Shame on you.

    1. So I have been doing a lot of soul searching, trying to understand some things about the Bible that I struggle to relate to and God has been thrown in my face constantly the last couple of weeks so I know it’s time I decide who I think is correct. 2 young gentlemen approached me as I was sitting in My car and asked me to visit their church of later day saints next sunday. Thinking that God is once again trying g to tell me something, I quickly agreed, although I know nothing about the church or their beliefs. They asked me to meet with them before hand at the church so they could show me around and make me feel more comfortable when I come by myself on Sunday. I agreed a d they left me with a small 6 or 7 page pamphlet which I just tossed on the seat next to me. However, at 6:30am, I couldn’t stop thinking about how scared I am to have to choose one religion over another, and possible choosing wrong. I’m afraid God will hate me if I choose the wrong church. Anyway, (I’m homeless), I really hed up and grabbed that pamphlet from the front passenger seat and just started disecting every word, comparing it with the kjv of the Bible, as well as what info google can provide. Anyway, I’m my research (with many notes in the pages of the pamphlet, as well as lots of sticky notes so i could fire away with all my heavy questions when i meet them at the church this evening), I came across this article and it really took me by surprise because it suppport the other pieces of information I have come across. It made me hesitate to engage myself into the church in any way, so I am thankful that you clarified the questionable statements made in this post.

      1. Waooo!!! This is very interesting. I have always wanted to know if Mormonism is Christianity. I will also need information on the details of Mormons many gods and why are they not monotheistic in their beliefs. Is Mormonism a cult?

      2. Just trust in the Holy Bible version of God. Not the extra books that are from a cult. They teach and believe in a differant Jesus.
Joseph Smith practiced polygamy. Had many wives. Some as young as 14 and others who were already married. Do lots of research into the LDS and their cult. Look into the CES letters site that lds don’t want people to read or research. Seek the truth find only in the Holy Bible. God bless you

        1. Husband’s father was Norman priest don’t think he had more than 1 wife but I bet mother in law wished there was another woman to help with her 18 kids and they all lived to adulthood. Told husband don’t you think about it

    2. “As man now is, God once was:”
“As God now is, man may be.”[2] – Lorenzo Snow, the church’s 5th president .

    3. Hey it is great that so many people are reaching out to GOD, which is a blessing – so I want to say that 1st – I think Deuteronomy is a great book in the Bible to read and James 1:5. That is the way and God will guide us all – keep reading and be blessed 😇

  19. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints believe in the same Jesus as everyone. We follow His teachings, try to be like Him. We believe He is resurrected, with a body. His Father is God. He is the actual Son Of God. His job is to be Gods hand on this earth. He s our brother, and died for our sins. Not to condemn the world, but to save us. The Book of Mormon is the history of the people who left Jerusalem and came to the America’s before His birth. ( native Americans) After His resurrection he visited His people in what is now maybe South America. (Also in Russia) the Book of Mormon is a record of this history. We fully believe and support the Bible. We just that God has not stopped talking to His beloved children along their journey.

    1. If you believe that God the Father is God and that Jesus, His Son, is also a God, but they are not equally God, then you are essentially believing in multiple gods. The LDS Church defines the Trinity as three separate beings who are equal in purpose but not in substance.

      1. Look I’m a Christian it says Jesus is at God’s right hand in heaven he is so holy he did not need a new form I read the king james version Jesus and god are the same people he made jesus just like him jesus is the only one that can be directly in his presence that’s why Jesus stands before his father on judgement day for us

    2. Yes you are, if you are Mormon. AF 1: we believe in God, the eternal father and in his son Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost.

  20. Waooo!!! This is very interesting. I have always wanted to know if Mormonism is Christianity. I will also need information on the details of Mormons many gods and why are they not monotheistic in their beliefs. Is Mormonism a cult?

    1. Sorry but we believe in one god not multiple.
The person that said this understood it wrong im a member(Church of jesus christ of later day saints) and pls take stuff from me(dont need to but hope this kinda helps im a young member. We believe in one god and that god has a son called jesus christ and there is also a holy ghost. We never said we are also gods or can be gods NO! We said Jesus Christ(god his son) came unto earth showed us how to live on earth.(you can read it in the bible) And to get babtized the right way and died for us(died for our sins, mistakes we made and make) he lived again(resurection) for us. And he said we are supposed to become like him(means do what he did like:babtize, pray, do good, ect. Cant say much, there is also moses talking abt what we are supposed to do). We dont wannt to become him, we believe we are all angels of him but thats what i wanted to say the most only one god holy ghost and jesus christ isnt god. Hopefully i made it a bit clear, brob not but i tried. Im 14 yrs so im a young person that told u this. Bye and have a good 2025 bye 🙂

      1. Read Read Read the Bible KJV, followed by The Book of Mormon. Other reading directly from the source, The Church of Jesus Christ, include Doctrines & Covenants. All questions are answered on all your topics

  21. The latter day saints keep trying to get me to join but I have been brought up there’s going one God the Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit .

  22. John 21 verse 25
25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

  23. For any one person to believe Joseph Smith saw these golden plates but they dissappear before anybody else gets to see them is completely absurb.. I recently went to salt Lake and those people are weird as fuck ..two years ago god opened my eyes to the unseen realm..I see demons and angels everywhere..and let me tell you , the demon population in the salt Lake city area is insanely enormous..the only explanation I can think of is that these Mormons are highly judgmental to outsiders ..and that my friends is a sin that brings strong demons upon them ..o lord , what you let me see and know in this world is something so truly amazing

      1. The command “do not add to scripture” is a theme found throughout the Bible, most prominently in Deuteronomy 4:2, Proverbs 30:6, and Revelation 22:18-19. These verses warn against altering God’s commands and teachings, with Revelation 22:18-19 stating that those who add to or take away from the prophecies of that book will face severe consequences.

    1. Hey Jake,
      I have questions for you.
What happened to you that caused you to get this ” gift”?
I too have been through something. A lot of hardship in life, I woke up one morning “different” but I don’t know why. Do you?

  24. Mormons !!! Ha!!!! The Mormon cult has its many flaws in the real god , the creator ..as do all of us ..but let me explain why Mormons carry the strongest demons out of all of us …I am tattooed, head to toe . And although my god , the one amd only true god , doesn’t care to much for it , his son , knows why I did it amd it’s not his biggest concern with me..but you should see the judgmental looks Mormons give me because of my tattoos..amd when one person acts like a judge , the one and only true judge let’s demons prey on that..so listen up Mormons, if you want to separate yourself from the demons I see influence yalls everyday activities..be more like the true Jesus, and let he who is without sin throw the first stone .Mormon judgmental ways let the strongest demons attack them…I don’t care fuck off

    1. I belong to the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints not all people in the church look down on ppl with tats . That was your choice . I like to ask you a few question . Do you go to church . If so would you put graffiti all over the the where you go to worship in.your body is a temple the spirit dewells in your body and nothing should defile the temple. But like I said it your choice to put tats on your body. It not for us to judge. I personally don’t care about your tats . In care about the person themselves. As long as your a good person with a good heart that all that matters to me . And I belong to the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints .god said judge not that you be judged. So don’t judge all members of the church because of some outher out there judge you for your tattoo. Peace out

      1. Gg me too a member of jesus christ of latter day saints and everything he said is what we do we have ,ore but j wont say everything then plss try finding out youre self

        1. I have been studying with Latter Day Saints I thought we all are children’s of God . I stand firm on the belief that there is only 1 true God.
I believe God ,Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit 🙏🏾 are as one, call on God and all 3 will appear In Jesus name Amen.
I’m learning to pray on everything I do mean everything I’m reading everyone’s messages and all I feel I am hearing is Judgement in so many different levels. God wants and need need us to come together in Jesus name, I believe God wants me to help refurbish his (GOD)his original plan to set myself apart to place myself in 6 places , situation etc and apply to my life love , peace, honesty faith trust prayers, LOVE Amen!!

          1. Me gusto tu comentario hay que adoptar las cosas que nos hagan bien Dios es solo uno !! Y si te srive y te ayuda y te hace bien te da paz !!!! Felicidades ..

      2. I have tattoo’s from many years ago when I was younger and the young lady’s that came by my house and we have been having conversations on the phone to learn more about Jesus Christ of Latter-Saints have not judged me the first time about my tattoo’s and I have found it very interesting compared to the church I grew up in

        1. I looked in the Bible about tattoos if that’s what a person wants go for it just hope you never change your mind and when your skin starts falling out of place so will the tattoos but you will be too old to care about the sin of vainty so enjoy if that makes you happy just use clean needles and you shouldn’t harm the body of christ God loves us not for what we look like I grew up as pentecostal oh my couldn’t do or wear anything

    2. I feel bad you let that get to you like that. Hate brings more hate brother. I pray you’ll connect directly to your Jesus and are freed from your threshold of anger. I to struggle deeply with anger as well. I relate just not with your experience.

    4. I am a tattoo and biker and my ward loves me. I investigated every church you can think of and the Mormons were the only ones to act the same everyday not just on Sunday. I stick out like a sore thumb but they treat me in a loving way.

    5. There are mormons with tattoos… “be more like the true jesus” and then tells everyone to f off 🤣 hilarious

    6. While I may not approve of the “f” word , that I fight slipping & using often , I agree with A lot of your thoughts. Also judging a person by just their looks r “appearing to b pious ” is bad too . Jesus ( son of God the almighty) is r savior & yes ! A true sign of a true chtistian is NOT this false / pagan view. I find what you’re saying so true. Your tattoos aren’t the issue. I found the same feelings to search for the truth & ones who DONT judge & follow the truth after awhile I saw John 17:3 & John 3:16 to b an awakening for me …. best wishes

    7. You leave a horrible view on god, and it isn’t “your god” the one true god is everyones god, and being out here doing this doesn’t make your church look any better…

    1. In what way ? I’m not a trinitarian but I see SO many untruths in the Mormons AND the Trinitarians that I’m really surprised u could make that statement

    2. “Celestial marriage and a continuation of the family unit enable men to become gods.”

Doesn’t that sound familiar? When Satan tempts Adam and Eve into eating the fruit and he said “if you eat from this fruit, you will be like God.”

Mormonism is written by an entire misunderstandment of the Bible, and it was written by an Adulterous, polygamous, drunk man who was very arrogant. He wanted to change the true word of God to match his beliefs, other than changing his beliefs to match the true word of God.

      1. You are such an uneducated idiot. Joseph Smith was a good man. Mormons started off polygamous because the mobs would raid the towns and murder all the men. At the time women had no rights so how would they provide for themselves, other men would accept them into their families to care for them. I know it sounds really weird and disgusting, believe me, I thought that too. Now it is outlawed but there are still stupid people like you out there that think we still practice it. Not true.

  25. Your statements are wrong, rude and not factual. I’m a retired English professor and believe in strong support of a thesis. Where did you get your information? Our church is called The Church of Jesus Christ (because He founded it) of Latter-Day-Saints ( this is the restoration of His Church for the latter days before His return.) This multi-God dogma you said we believe is wrongly put. Read the Book of Mormon. It is clear you have not—but rely on here-say and lies. Christ is the creator of the world, one with the Father in purpose. We revere Christ and our Father. The Book of Mormon explains the doctrines in the Old and New Testaments. Please read and it call or email me first to increase your understanding to what is true! If you would have read you would know much more of our beliefs.

    1. The book of motion was written by a man that taught like Satan in the beginning that “u will b like God’s knowing good & bad” … the buble is the only truly inspired word of God. The last book of the bible clearly said it’s a sin to add r take from the bible. It’s not inspired , it’s not from god r christ , it’s founded on your ” prophet” who is self made & “voted” for & a leader by man . The book of Mormon is crazy. It makes no sense . It’s full of fantasy & false teachings . There’s so much chaos & false , pagan worship in it ; its insane. Written by a man who claims he was lifted the writings from an angel ( no proof) & then the info taken away …. the bible has been proven in so many ways to b truth it’s undeniable . History , findings, artifacts … theres thousands of yrs & lessons on the truth in the bible. There’s 1 god , his son & gods powers & angels. Repeatedly the bible says that ;that there should b no other gods & Jesus is our savior. Time & time again Mormons keep going back to man made thoughts , man made prophets , man made policies, a man made book that goes against the truth & the ultimate lie of all that man can become a r the God…the book r Mormon is madness

      1. I heard the founder of the mormans got it all thr a salamander father-in-law was morman priest never got to talk to him about it husband doesn’t remember much but very strictness in life

    2. I am a Christian, I have been to many different churches,I been recently going to a morman church cuz distance twice it is closer to me, and the missionary visited me and every thing said and studied with them seemed to go along with my King James version, until yesterday’s study of there prophet and apostles, which threw me off so I talked to my Christian pastor and he said to read Hebrews 1 that the prophet s and apostles are in the past, now we get our word from the and only God ,Jesus Christ. I would be greatful for any help, yes I prayed about this and yes I informed the mormans of my researching, but I have not received any answer yet…..please help

    3. Mormons love to twist the words when I quote the verse Jesus states I and the father are ONE not I and the father are ONE in purpose lol and if you don’t believe in the trinity then you believe in many Gods sorry

  27. You could not be more wrong about this. U have been mormon all my life and we have never practiced polytheism. Where are your sources dude. You can’t be out here spreading false information. So to everybody out there, this guy is full of it and doesn’t know what he’s talking about so don’t listen to him.

    1. Is it true that you believe you can be a god? Is it true that you believe Jesus and Lucifer are brothers? Jesus to me is the manifest presense of the one true God and not a created being and as Lucifer is a created but fallen angel, they cannot be brothers.

  28. You are stating incorrect beliefs
On behalf of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
All of the books refer to and believe there is one Jesus, just as most Christians. However they do not believe that the Father (God), the Son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Ghost are one being but three separate. Your words are inaccurate.
You should know this is false.

    1. A statement of which I cannot recall the source stated;
The doctrine of the Trinity refers to God in His three ways of being God.
      I find this idea helpful

  29. Can’t decide what to comment I am guided here and I ask why. What do you have for me?in reading comments I understand I need to read the Book of Mormon

    1. You are exceptionally gifted in dyslexic tendencies. I applaud your finesse in illiteracy. Also, this article is completely false.

    2. Don’t be sad.
      You are both here
      Both human
      Both going through everything together
Many people have different perspectives..God loves everyone forgives everyone..
I am a Christian and i raised my children christian and they have grown up and chosen to be men of science. Atheists. Does that make you sad? Don’t be sad..just trust God and understand unity. We are all in this together even though we all have different fingerprints.
Humanity is what we all are. All feeling hearing seeing smelling etc. Our experiences and extent of learning things may vary. Love one another. Support one another. Trust God. Don’t worry, be happy!

    3. Apenas estoy investigando acerca de los mormones, para poderle enseñar a ellos lo erróneos que estan

  30. Thank you for the clarity you share from your conversation with your friend. As a Southern Baptist I could never wrap my understanding about how three could be in different places, yet the same, and how Jesus could be praying to himself, and the dove that descended at his baptism could make declarations. This has been very difficult for me.
I think I get it now from your friend’s explanation and thank you for making tradition beliefs vulnerable to what makes logical sense.
How does one find out more of your friend’s denomination?
    Thank you.

  31. I know the LDS church and teachings, as I’m a member. We are absolutely Christians and what you’ve written I’ve found very misleading and some of it out right untrue. We study KJV Bible, just like every other Christian church. We just believe in the entirety of its teachings. Not what someone else’s outlook is on the picked apart verses. Most churches only teach 1/4 or 1/2 the Bible. I find it heartbreaking, for someone who spends a lifetime in other religions, when I bring up a subject and their response is.. that must be in “your” book, it’s not in “my” Bible. My response.. GOOGLE. Their mind.. 🤯 We all read the same Bible (LOL). Just some of us read it as a whole and not just bits and pieces, here and there.

  32. When you said “They believe that there are many gods,” that is false. There is only one God and that is Heavenly Father. Then you said ” and we can all become gods too,” while this is partially correct, you don’t have the full understanding. When you and your spouse are sealed together in the temple and live righteously, then when you both die, you both (if you both lived righteously) go to the celestial world (the highest degree of glory). That is when you are able to create worlds, like God. This can only happen if two married people (man and woman) are sealed together in the temple by marriage.

  33. This is objectively untrue. Mormonism is not polytheistic, and Mormons do not believe that Jesus is a God. I am an ex-Mormon who grew up in a highly religious household, and I still know all of the Articles of Faith (the most basic of Mormon doctrine) by heart. “We believe in God, the eternal father, and in his son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.” They believe that these three personages are distinctly different and do not largely overlap in roles. While Mormonism is extremely incorrect, this article is wholly misinformed and spreading misinformation.

    1. Help me please, what’s incorrect about Mormonism is what church are you using? I’m only asking because I’m seeking a church and the missionaries have reached out to me, so I’m just trying to get some info please.

  34. I come from a long ancestry of Mormons, all the way back to Navoo, the first Ward. I am Christian, one God, a Holy Trinity of the in one. I have several dear friends who are Mormon, and I have struggled with a lot since my husband passed away. He started going to church with them, and now they have asked me to do a ceremony to baptize him in the church/Temple, whatever. I reverently say no, it is against my beliefs. But further more, what ever direction he went he is there. There is no “prison”. How do I say no in a careful Christian way. Not only to be a Christian, but to leave the door open for future conversations to open their eyes to the truth and to save a friend ship. I pay for God’s hand to give me wisdom.

  35. Your comments are absolutely garbage, sorry to say. The Lord warned us that in the last days there will be those looking for there own gratifications trying to turn christians away from truth, you remind me of Paul when he persecuted the Savior with contempt and hatred because he did not fully understand, until he was enlightened by an angel with the truth, maybe one day you too will come to a truthfull enlightenment instead of putting down other denominations who teach and love the savior.

    1. You all don’t even seem to be able to agree in these comments, from what I’ve read, on what Mormonism is.
Saying the author is misinformed when Mormons in the comments are all talking in circles.
I’ve read: 3 separate Gods, only 1 God, becoming gods in the afterlife. You all need to get it together first. 🙄

  36. The above information is so wrong. We do not believe Jesus is God. There is God our heavenly father. There is his son Jesus Christ and there is the Holy Ghost. I don’t know where you get your information but you better redo your research before you publish anything else that’s absolutely incorrect

  37. I deeply believe in Christianity so Mormons are in a different lead of their own??I believe Jesus is the narrow path and only way.

    1. There’s a lot of scriptures states evidence the all have 3 different body.
Lds dont breaches Jesus is the god father the breach and teaches he’s the son of God and he’s one of the god heads.
Lucifer who was called Satan is another son of the God father who was cast down to this earth which he’s not known to be one of the god heads how ever he still have lot of power to destroy and influence in most human beings in this world
Sorry not sure if I say it right as English is my second language but I do know and understand how

  38. Those mormon missionary kids that I’ve met in several Western countries always leave out the polytheistic part. I’d say, that’s by design, from people higher up the ladder. The missionary kids themselves may lack maturity as to how their biblical understanding is unbiblical.

I would like to know if missionary kids who are being sent to polytheistic societies are led to talk about polytheism more openly.

  39. Mormons have statues of Jesus and god. That’s highly unbiblical, to make a stature-image of god.

    1. Not true, just for clarification the only statue I or any other member have seen is one of the Savior. He is our redeemer. It is who we worship as the Son of God. The only begotten of the Father. It is through him we are able to return to God and be in his presence.

  40. European perspective: Both coke and sprite are US-American low quality “digestible matter”. I cannot even call it “food” let alone “nourishment”. US-Americans are content using “digestible matter”. No higher or lower moral for caffeine or lack thereof, both destroy the God-given body.

  41. Author has very good points about the terminology. I’d like for the author to stress the terminolgy about “families are forever”. I’d argue, Christians see “forever” as “until we die” whereas Mormons see “forever” as in “forever. Plus if you’re a woman, you’ll keep pushing out babies”.

Now, while a strong belief in forever pushing babies does not make it a reality – it does produce a value system for the present. The Christian “forever” is love. The Mormon “forever” is meat production.

Also in case of sexual abuse and familial violence, Christians know they can divorce their spouse or leave their parents once they’re 18. Mormons? “Sealed together forever.” Quite a hellish paradise.

  42. As a member of the LDS church this is false information. They do not teach that Jesus Christ is a God. We do not teach that there are multiple gods. There is one only one God. The one who created the whole entire universe. Please do your research before you go spreading false information online. Mormons follow the same Jesus Christ that every Christian follows.

  43. Leap in’ Lizards! You couldn’t be more biased if that was your only goal. We spend zero time putting down mainline Christianity. Yet the love of God appears to wax a little cold in your heart towards us, evidenced by your selective misrepresentation of our church. Not to worry, though. All is always forgiven.

  44. Los mormones no somos politeista. Porfavor deje de difamar la iglesia con lo que USTED ENTENDIÓ.

  45. I recently joined The Church after searching through many other Christian churches. Never ever in all of my searching have I heard this description of The Latter Day saints . In all my 62 years on this earth have felt this close to my Savior, Jesus Christ! Because of this ⛪

  46. It dont matter, theres only one way to the Father…
    Thats through Jesus Christ..
    Jesus Said..
    John 14:6
I am the way, the truth, and the life NO ONE comes to the father except through ME.

    You need to know Jesus!!
He’s the key, the way, the truth and the life to enter in.
If you dont have a personal relationship with Jesus then you aint going to the Father 🤷🏽‍♀️ pretty clear to me.

  47. I’m sorry to see you have that wrong. You see, I’m a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints or what people like to call Mormon. We do not believe there are many Gods. We believe in God The Eternal Father. We believe in His son Jesus Christ. We also believe in The Holy Spirit. Unlike to Catholic Church which started the claim of God, Jesus, and The Spirit being one being; we believe they are their own separate beings, but one in purpose. The same Jesus of Nazareth called Christ in The Holy Bible is the same Jesus we as members of The church of Jesus Christ worship and follow.

    1. Very well said. I was gonna comment on his post then I came upon your comment and agreed with everything you’ve said 🔥. Well done🥰😛🙌

  48. No not many Gods! Only one God; God the Father; Jesus son of God; and then the Holy Spirit that Jesus gifted us😉❤️🕊️🙏. That is the belief of members of The Church of JESUS CHRIST of LATTER Day Saints. Thank you for sharing🥰

  49. Wow ty for explaining the Mormon doctrine to me.. my son

  50. It would be interesting to hear a sensible and readoned person as yourself discuss Islam.

Is this our one true God, revealed in a different way in a different time to different people … who interpreted the divinity of Christ differently ?

Or are Moslems worshipping a false God or the true God in a false way ?

There’s a lot of moslems in the world. In the west they receive a bad press. Extremism. Terrorism. Suppresding women. But these people aldo provide great charity and kindness.

    Please “discuss”

  51. Im having a struggle because I believe in the Christian faith but my family believes in mormannism and I dont know how to explain that to them

  52. That’s article don’t informed the people correctly. As an LDS member I have learned we believe in Jesus Christ not in lots of gods. If you search the lds articles of faith you can comprehend better.

  53. Brother. Try to think of this event but first pray that may you understand it with the help of God and not of your own mind and understanding.
The event of baptism of Jesus Christ …there is a voice from heaven declaring ” this is my belived son, hear Him” Jesus Christ is not speaking at that time but a vouce who is the Heavenly Father speakung which was heard by those around and a Dove descended to Jesus Christ after baptized. In that time there wete three 3 involved, one speaking and introduci g the one being baptized whi is second and the third in the form of a fove descended the Holy Ghost…how can you explain that. Please pray and ask God our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ the explanation of this. Not coming from your own carnal mind but with the inspiration of the Hoky Ghost as you ask and pray about it. God bless you ..

  54. Thank you for this article. It was a great description of what Mormons believe . It explained to me that there whole belief is based on how Smith believed in his vision regarding the book of James.
    I am
Walking away from the reading understanding that as I have always thought they were false teachers and I should be cautious of believing anything the say and also be suspicious of their action in life
    Particularly in business
    Thank you

  55. Many well meaning leaders have slipped in Christology. Not just LDS.
I am not sure where the line of Orthodoxy is crossed. What does I John mean when it says, “As Christ was, so are we in the world”?

  56. Amen. Exactly. Charles Carpenter 73 and dealt with same issues when speaking to Mormons. I’ve also learned in most cases they prefer to believe a lie, such as the book of Mormon rather than hear the truth when you read it right from the Word of God, the Bible. There is no sacred book except the Bible. It is the Word of God. We have no business adding to it or taking from it.

  57. So based off of what they do believe about Jesus they do believe he’s the savior and that only through him we can be saved that he died and was risen from the dead sending to heaven. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that who shall ever believe it’s in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Do you think that people that believe different aspects of interpretation of the Bible but believe that Jesus is Lord and savior will go to heaven or does God have a different path for them? Thank you for answering
