  1. I appreciate your free sermon. I was put on the spot to provide prayer at a funeral, & had no clue how to organize myself to do this. Then I found you. Thanks again! And of course Gods blessings.

  2. I needed to have a sermon for my sister-n-law’s service and didn’t know since this is my first one besides.. Thank You!

  3. This is my first funeral service. I’ve had experience as a presiding Preacher, but never to give the eulogy. This is my Aunt, when I got the call I hesitated, but knew it was my duty to always be ready for assignment. Thanks for the free sermon to use as a guide.

  4. I was so TOUCH by this sermon. Thanks. This is not only for the dead or bereaved family but for those who do not know GOD and or Jesus Christ as a pardoneror their SIN and provider or giver of salvation.
    Thank you.

  5. Thank you brother. I am not a Pastor but being a small group leader and descipler, I was once asked to share the Gospel in a funeral service of a member who died. The bible verses are almost the same, although we use some from Ecclesiates. Your encouraging words to the mourners are great and the manner of invitation to Salvation. God be with you.

Thank you, this sermon was very helpful. I work for two funeral homes to give words of comfort when needed. Also, a New Chaplain not a New Minister in the word. Pray for me to depend on the spirit of God for courage. Thanks again.

  7. I’m a Christian and I do have a ministerial certificate and a written reference letter, I want to do my fathers service. What you think?

  12. I am in the process of preparing to preach my first sermon in the absence of our Pastor. When he ask me if I would do it, I almost sank through the chair in his office. I had two days to reply to his request. Your sermon gave me courage and strength to seek God’s guidance as I prepare. Thanks you are a blessing.

  17. I used this sermon for the first funeral I did for my brother-in-law just two weeks ago (asked last minute!) and am preparing for the funeral of the mother of a friend so close he’s a brother. Your encouragement, organization, and Spirit filled words are so appreciated while wading through grief and feeling lost in the responsibility to deliver a meaningful and powerful message.

    Thank you so much!

  21. Thank You Brandon,
I’ve been pondering over what to say for a family member tomorrow. I had several thoughts throughout last week, but didn’t want to be too long, or too short, but to remember him, and comfort them. Your sermon concerning the three “H” words is perfect for this family. Because we lived in different cities from each other, I don’t know if he was in church, but I know he loved his family (Great Grandmother, Grandmother, his Mother, his Aunt (my daughter-in-law), my Son, and his three children. I’ve met other members of his family and know that he was truly loved by them, and many other friends. Thank you again, God Bless you as you continue to share and preach His Word.
