  1. Thanks very much for your teachings towards helping me setting up a class of leadership and ministry very soon

  2. Thanks for this. Years ago I was told by numerous older men at the church I attended that they believed I was called to ministry. I spent years seeking training, worked in youth organizations and in churches (but never as a senior pastor).

I’m now 67 and still wondering. I’m on the local pulpit supply for churches in my area.

I’m not sure if I’m called to the pastorate though I believe God has gifted me with teaching and preaching. Maybe just filling pulpits or short interims. I really don’t know. I pray about it.

The one thing I’m not sure of is in dealing with people and issues that will invariably occur in churches. I like people and find it relatively easy to work with them. But being a pastor requires things I may not have.

    Thanks again.
    Fred

  3. Good morning Mr. Hilgeman
After reading your article , “How to know if you are called to Ministry I realized that I have a deep passion for sharing the gospel to all who have the ears to here the word of God. For many years of my life I have wittiness some trying times in my life and family, and I wanted to see a better place than what I have wittiness here on this earth. I been back in church for over twenty years now and taught Sunday school for many years and wanted to spread the Word of God to all who will listen, my trail sermon is done, I do feel alone sometimes, is it my calling?
